Wahawk Athletics

The Wahawk Varsity Soccer Team finished the MVC season with a 3-1 over Cedar Rapids Jefferson. The game was rescheduled to Thursday, May 21st, after a lightening cancellation of the originally scheduled game on May 14th.

The Wahawks have won 8 games in a row, and currently stand at 14-4 overall The season has included wins over Cedar Rapids Kennedy (curently ranked #1 in Iowa 3A Soccer), Hudson (curently ranked #4 in Iowa 2A Soccer), CR Xavier (currently ranked #6 in Iowa 2A Soccer), and Waterloo Columbus (currently ranked #3 in 1A Soccer).

The Wahawks will face the winner of the Mason City/Marshalltown contest (May 26th) at Sloane Wallace Stadium next Thursday, May 28th at 6:30pm).
