Wahawks defeat CR Jefferson to Claim 7th at 4A State Softball

The Wahawks finished the 2009 Class 4A State Softball Tournament with a 5-4 victory over MVC rival Cedar Rapids Jefferson Wednesday, July 22nd. The victory gave the Softball Team a 7th place finish in the 1st ever State Softball Tournament appearance for Waterloo West, and for the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Metro area.
