2008 Freshmen Metro Volleyball Tournament Info

Location:     Waterloo West High School, 425 E. Ridgeway Avenue     

Start Time:  4:00 p.m. (Coaches and Officials meeting at 3:45 p.m.)  

Admission:  Adult: $3.00              Students: $2.00

Criteria:       Best two of three games to 21 (no cap), third game to 15,
                    if necessary.

Warm up: Pool play 4-4-2 first match and 4-1 remaining matches. Coin flip to determine serve and home team. Teams may also warm up in the Upper Gymnasium, supervised by their coaches.                  

Seeding:    Round Robin format within the pool. The winner of the Pool A will play the Winner of Pool B for the Metro Championship.

Locker rooms: There will be locker rooms available for dressing and showering. Teams will be responsible for their own valuables. Waterloo West does not provide supervision for the locker rooms and is not responsible for any lost or stolen articles. Towels not provided.

Line judges, practice balls, scorekeepers, libero trackers will be provided.
 
Trainers will be available. Concessions will be available. 
 
Teams are responsible for cleaning up their areas.

4:00 p.m.          1 vs. 2 on both courts
5:00 p.m.          2 vs. 3 on both courts
6:00 p.m.          1 vs. 3 on both courts
7:00 p.m.          West Court-  Winner of Pool A vs. Winner of Pool B
Officials:    Dan Fix, Katy Thompson, Chris Kaiser, Bryan Foster, Doug Johnson, and Dave Boehmer.
